Terms of Use

Thanks for using sitedia (sitedia.app, the “Service”). This page covers the conditions for using it and — the part most people are actually asking about — what you may do with the diagrams you generate. There are no accounts, so using the Service means you accept these terms.

1. What the Service does

You give it an address or a coordinate; it assembles open data into site-analysis diagrams (SVG, PNG), a CAD underlay (DXF) and 3D models (GLB, 3DM, DAE). It is free and requires no account.

2. What you generate is yours

The diagrams, DXF and 3D files the Service produces are yours to use. Put them in reports, presentations, design proposals or competition submissions. Commercial use, including client work, is fine. You do not need to ask.

The operator claims no rights over your output, does not track where you use it, and does not restrict re-working it — recolor it, combine it with your own drawings, annotate it.

What you cannot sign away here are the rights in the underlying data, which belong to the agencies and projects that publish it. See section 3.

3. Attribution

When you use output publicly — a published document, a website, a submission outside your organization — carry the attribution below. Internal review copies do not need it.

Every exported file already carries a source note. The simplest way to comply is to leave it in.

4. Accuracy, and what this is not

The Service assembles third-party open data. Each dataset has its own vintage and error margin, and they disagree with each other and with the ground. Heights are missing for some buildings, year built for roughly a third, and elevation data does not know where water is without help.

This is not a survey, a zoning determination, or a feasibility study. Do not use it as the basis for permitting, property transactions, construction, or anything else where being wrong has legal or physical consequences. Verify against authoritative sources before you rely on a number.

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for losses arising from use of the Service or its output.

5. Fair use of the Service

Please do not run automated bulk scraping, attempt to overload or break the Service, or use it in ways that violate the licenses in section 3. Generating diagrams for your own projects — including many of them — is exactly what it is for. Access may be limited or suspended where use threatens availability for everyone else.

6. Advertising

The Service is free and carries Google AdSense advertising. See the Privacy Policy for what that means for cookies.

7. Changes

These terms may change; the effective date at the top will be updated. If a change materially affects your rights to output you have already generated, it will not apply retroactively — output you made under the old terms stays under the old terms.
