sitedia is built and run by one person. Data errors, feature requests and questions about use all go through the two channels below. You will usually hear back within two or three days, including when the problem sits in the source data and cannot be fixed on our side.

Reporting a data error

Three things make it quick to check:

Errors in the source data (a missing footprint in the assessor roll, a parcel boundary that is off) are not ours to fix. What we do is record the case in the relevant guide so the next person is not misled at the same spot. Errors in our processing (flipped faces, roads coloured as large lots, a file that will not open) we fix — the “traps we hit” sections in the guides are that history.

Feature requests

“It would be useful to have a panel for…” is the most welcome kind of message. Most of the recent panels started that way. A new panel is added only when the data exists, the assumptions are few, and we can say which way it errs when it errs. Things that would have to be filled with estimates — a noise map, for instance — are not built even when asked.

Use and licensing

Reports, competition entries and commercial use need no permission beyond the Terms. For teaching material, bulk use or data integration, write to us.

Who runs this

An urban designer, after hours. Who and why is on the About page. Personal data is handled only as described in the Privacy policy — your message and contact details are kept for the purpose of replying and nothing else.
